The snow was all gone, but now it's back! Proper fat snow too!

I enjoyed walking home all wrapped up warm and wearing my wellies, and passing all the cars lined up on every single road. The vets called us today with the results of Hamish's biopsy. His skin condition is something genetic. They did give it a name, but OH said it was "a really long word and she said it really fast".

This basically means that there is no cure. He's in again on Monday to have his stitches out and then we have to make an appointment to go and chat to ( Read more... )

There was a time "shall we meet for a drink tomorrow?" meant Saturday afternoon in the pub and ending up catching the last bus home absolutely smashed. Now, it means coffee.

I'm trying my hardest to stop the dog scratching, but he's just caught one of his stitches with a claw and made it bleed!

Any suggestions for protecting the stitches? I'm worried he's gonna pull them out overnight. :(

OMG, my day at work?? Fucking crazy!! I had to do the ordering for all three hospitals today!! WHAT? Ugh. And as if that isn't bad enough, I was having a bit of a dopey day to boot. Woo! hehe. He spent half an hour tonight stalking his teddy, pouncing on it and shaking it until he was satisifed it was dead. Then he dropped it, took a few steps back, pounced and shook again.
